Asian Business Student Association (ABSA)

August 2024 – Present

As Treasurer and Budget Chair of ABSA, I managed the organization's finances and played a key role in planning events that highlight Asian culture and business leadership. I worked closely with other executive board members to secure funding, process reimbursements, and ensure all events stayed within budget while maximizing student engagement.

  • Oversaw and reconciled budgets for 10+ events
  • Worked with university finance to ensure compliance and timely reimbursements
  • Helped organize events like “Business of Boba” and Lunar New Year with strong turnout

IPALs@UC (International Partners and Leaders)

January 2024 – Present

In my leadership role with IPALs, I supported international students adjusting to campus life through mentorship, event planning, and cultural exchange. I led workshops and team-building retreats designed to strengthen global awareness and foster inclusion within the UC community.

Gamma Iota Sigma

As a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, I actively engaged in professional development workshops, industry panels, and case study events related to insurance and risk management. This involvement sharpened my networking skills and exposed me to career opportunities within the field.

Omani Students Association

September 2021 – Present

Through my work with the Omani Students Association, I helped promote Omani heritage and support new students from Oman. I assisted in organizing cultural showcases and informal gatherings that strengthened community ties and eased transitions for new arrivals.

  • Offered peer support to newly arrived Omani students
